It is said that we are born into this world without fear. Fear is developed, and taught to us as we grow up. We are taught to fear by means of discipline, culture and religion.
Fear has become a part of our lives and a way of life, creating instability.
We do not think of experimenting or exploring as we fear the consequences. We constantly fear the unknown and we as humans cannot predict what lies ahead. It is a factor mentioned by Maslow’s Hierarchy needs to feel accepted and loved. In this respect our fears block us from achieving our full potential and reaching the highest point of our goals. Our minds and feelings hold us back due to constantly worrying about what the outcome will be. Instead of living fearless lives, we create a shell around us, and become paranoid of extraordinary or insignificant factors faced in our lives. Our decisions will either empower us one hundred percent or not at all, however not all things that we are afraid to do will affect us negatively.
Many of these are mere perceptions of situations, which hinder us from becoming people with strong wills and personalities.
Fear deters us from living life to the fullest. We should be bold in making a difference in our lives and accepting the consequences. If you do not have faith in yourself fear will conquer you. We should also keep in mind that our Creator will never take us to, what he is unable to carry us through.

ReplyDeleteYour interpretation is very true. I for one fear the unknown and it is something that I really need to work on otherwise I too will miss out on life experiences.
This is true. Fear has taken over our lives and this will hold us back. We will end up thinking 'what if' instead 'I did'.
ReplyDeleteFear controls our lives and we really to take control of it in order to live a more fulfilled life. Take that leap of faith, it could lead you to greatness.
