Dumbo, the enormous brown elephant accidentally landed in my room after my magician friend, Maggie’s spell went horribly wrong. It was terrible; I was traumatized and confused at this peculiar state of affairs.

There Dumbo stood, as huge as can be, unable to move, as the walls enclosed him. I was stuck right behind his rear leg, hoping and praying dear Dumbo doesn’t drop a wind.

Dumbo is a very friendly elephant, and his size was not the problem, his ears were. No matter how softly we tried speaking; Dumbo would have no problem hearing. It was impossible to hide anything from Dumbo.

Elephants in the room are issues that people fear to address and prefer to hide behind the truth. These are issues we try to keep a secret by waving our magic wand and disguising them, however, the issue will not disappear and it will be heard through the ears of Dumbo.

We are unable to hide Dumbo forever. It is of vital importance that issues such as these be addressed immediately. It would give us and those around us the piece of mind they deserve and send Dumbo the elephant home safely and happily.
