Everyday is a good day

A great way to start your day is to say your prayers and to believe that today is your day. Everyday is a good day, as we live to see the beauty of Mother Nature, come rain or sun shine, come a stormy winter or a bright, hot summer.

Everyday is a good day, because we have life, and we face new opportunities, learn new techniques, grapple with new challenges and have exciting experiences. Each day has something good to offer, and we learn to appreciate our life. As we discover the potential hidden in us, we strive to make full use of the potentials we did not know we had.

Everyday is a good day when we have technology at our disposal, and we are able to maximise production and cut costs. Everyday is a good day when we receive recognition for what we pursue, and to know that we are valued in all we do. Everyday is a good day when the opportunity arises to improve our living conditions and help where we can to improve our living conditions of others.

Everyday is a good day when we have food on our table because we are blessed to be employed. Everyday is good when our goals and dreams materialise and we are surrounded by family and friends who show love towards each other.

Everyday is a good day is a good day because each day has something great to offer.

Everyday is a good day

Be Thankful

It is a characteristic of all people, to think that we are in the worst positions anyone could possibly be. We make our many problems to seem insurmountable and add unnecessary stress and pressure upon ourselves.

Many times in these ‘tight situations’, we do not realise how lucky we really are. We either over analyse our situation or under analyse our situation, both being very dangerous to the manner in which we perceive objectives. We do not see how lucky we are, as we are blinded by our own personal wants, that if compared to the situations, others find themselves in, we should be thankful, for all the blessings we receive daily.

We are blessed in many ways, some more than others. To be alive is a gift. In every way we are special and have characteristics which stand out uniquely from the next person. We should be thankful that many of the strong storms we encounter pass over time. For many people, storms do not end. These storms determine what their tomorrow would be like. We should be thankful that we have the opportunity to overcome the storms that come our way. We should be grateful and thank the heavens for carrying you through. When you thought you where bad off, think again, think of others, who you could help and they could be thankful for having you as their friend.

May we realise that life is filled with beautiful roses that have thorns. May the thorns in our lives also have beautiful roses to cheer us up when problems arise. May we be thankful for whatever comes our way, and may God bless each day.

Policing after the World Cup

Policing prior to the world has been good, I really see myself as a person who will give a compliment if it is well deserved or in this case well earned.

It is clear to me that after the World Cup policing in South Africa seems much better. They are more visible in our areas and I am always reading about the work they are doing. I know that there are many negatives, while there are more positives and they strengthen their weakness and becoming a stronger force. I think it is greatly important that the people do take note of these issues as when there is a negative it receives greater coverage than any good done. I think that it is of great importance that South Africa stands with the force as we are all in the fight to make South Africa a better place.
The World Cup proved to have given them the drive and confidence to take control of situations.

The South African police force should keep up the great work in keeping our areas crime free and enable us to live safer lives and enjoy South Africa.

Our greatest strengths are our weaknesses

Our greatest strengths can become our own enemies. We are strong and good at what we do and because we are aware of this, the power could go to our heads.

Our strengths then become our weaknesses as we do not have control over it and allow our strengths to get the better of us. Many times people abuse their strengths and use it for their own gain which eventually can harm them. We become weaker and weaker as evil takes over. It is of great importance that we do not forget the foundation of our strength and the weakness which have developed us I becoming what we are at present. If we do this we are able to use our strengths to empower the weaker while not using our strengths to empower ourselves leading to weakness again.

Our strengths can also be seen as our weakness as we are able develop our strengths to a greater level and reach our maximum potential. In doing so our weaknesses become what our strengths was. A new weakness will be discovered for you to work on. As you achieve this you will realise that you are becoming a better person holistically.

It is important that we try to improve ourselves daily in order for us to reach our maximum potential and also assist others to the best of our ability.

Keeping it simple

It is always beneficial to you, or in your best interest to keep things simple, while the structure remains linked to the idea or principle.

Keeping ideas simple, allows you to utilize your efficiency and eliminates frustration and confusion in the attempt of developing our idea. In many instances, we find we tend to aim extremely high. We want to be perfectionists in our first endeavour. We find ourselves lost in the ideas and we do not realise that in order to be clearly understood, we need to start small and take baby steps. In starting off slowly, planning things carefully, and keeping things simple, we are able to discover our faults and modification of our ideas can easily be executed.

Simplicity is acknowledged in many forms of art. Painting for example, can be simple, while the way it is presented makes the desired impression. In life we should simplify our challenges, by means of analysis and creating simple means of dealing with challenges.
This would defiantly eliminate an enormous amount of stress.

Try a cliché

A cliché is a phrase or picture which describes an abstract idea, and has been overused and boring. A cliché states the obvious to listeners and it would be used with the intention to paint a picture on your discussion.

When trying a cliché it is important that you do not contradict your point as the cliché might make you seem less competent. A cliché can be used to present your argument and exaggerate the premise you intend on proving. A cliché used to exaggerate your meaning would definitely add value and life to your discussion. It gives your listeners and viewers a moment to relax their minds, while allowing you to give your viewers bits of obvious information which does not need to be given much thought.

Clichés allow you convey your ideas, for example; “he is a lazy pig”, meaning the person is lazy and does not put much effort into getting things done. Another obvious phrase which is a cliché would be, “working like a dog” stating that the person is a hard worker. These phrases have been overused, while it still discusses the idea the reader or writer aims convey. Many examples of clichés do not offend people; they say nothing, while I do disagree with this as it does depend on how you phrase the words.

Clichés can be fun to use depending on how you present it, it will not hurt to try them as even though they have been used and are obvious, they still add life to you picture you are trying to paint.
